Product Description
One of the challenges facing organisations desiring to deploy a PKI infrastructure is the creation and management of digital certificates. Even large entities with numerous users can neither justify the costly investment required for an in-house CA nor is this practical from a security standpoint.

Registration Officer using the Bronze Service Provider

The WISeKey Bronze Service Provider (BSP) is a low cost solution that fulfils all requirements for locally generating, issuing and managing certificates through WISeKey's secure public key infrastructure.

The BSP is a fully pre-configured workstation for an Affiliate Registration Organisation. It is securely linked to the Ecommerce PKI CA via the Internet acting as a satellite to the global WISeKey Public Key Infrastructure. The BSP provides the Registration Authority with all necessary functionality including secure cryptographic key generation and services to request the issuance, renewal, suspension and revocation of certificates. Besides complete hardware and software the BSP includes all the necessary legal, operational and technical documentation, an independent audit, training of Registration Officers, maintenance and support.

The WISeKey BSP will enable the subscriber to act as a fully authorised Registration Authority according to the legal and technical framework defined by WISeKey. It facilitates deployment and administration of smart card or token-based digital certificates based on face-to-face registration from any place in the world. This will allow customers to apply control on the issuance of certificates at a corporate level.

This turn-key ready solution using "Best-of breed" technology was designed to provide the most cost effective way to perform high level identification and registration and enables real non-repudiation necessary for digital signatures and high value transactions.

  or an equivalent number of 3 year subscriptions (WISeKey High

- Directory and validation services via WISeKey's Ecommerce PKI CA
- Training for Registration Authority Officers (BSP Users) in Geneva, CH
- Support via email
- Independent audit (excluding costs of travel and expenses)
- Hardware and software maintenance
- Order processing for smart cards, smart card readers and tokens

Not included: (customer is responsible for these items)
- On-site installation of the BSP system
- Connection to the Internet or other communication facilities
- Communication costs

NOTE: The BSP System is strictly dedicated for the purpose of registering WISeKey certificate subscribers and may not be used for any other application or purpose outside the scope defined by the Affiliate Registration Organisation Agreement.

Delivery of the WISeKey Bronze Service Provider is subject to export authorisation for the restricted products included in the package.
